Yesterday, Vicki and I took Sophia to the library for the first time. Later that day, she posted this on Facebook.
The other day, a customer told me that Juan wasn’t REALLY Sophia’s uncle and that in school she will learn that and be devastated. I replied with, “she knows he’s her uncle and she loves him. When she sees him, she runs to him arms wide open. She kisses his cheek and hugs him. It doesn’t matter what they teach her in school about ‘family’ because he will always be her uncle, no matter what anyone says. They love each other unconditionally and that’s what family is all about.”
I’m so very, very happy and grateful to be a part of their lives and I’m so glad and this….this just makes me so…
Be careful, catamounts! A wild young moose is roaming around Burlington today. It broke windows in Stafford and Marsh Life Science, and it’s still out there! There is some evidence of moose blood on campus, too.
If you see the moose, be careful. Moose can be dangerous creatures.
